Copyscape allows you to search for copies of your web pages, so you’ll know for sure if someone out there has snagged your site’s content and is going around saying it’s theirs. This is a free service and it can provide some peace of mind in a world where plagiarism isn’t just something you hear about in school. They also have banners you can add to your site to warn potential plagiarists that you monitor your content against theft. They also offer information on plagiarism, steps on how to respond to it, and a forum for discussions. These are also all provided for free.

They also offer a couple of paid services: Copyscape Premium gives you more searching options, no monthly limits, and the ability to search for offline content for a per search fee. Copysentry provides your web site with ongoing protection and emails you if copies of your content are found. Both services allow you to track any cases of plagiarism you may find.
