Character, Line and Word Counter
I just finished adding a great new tool to the High Aspirations, Inc. Web Site. That tool is the Character, Line and Word Counter and you can find it in the Free Stuff section.
I have been using it for at least a year now when I design a web site to keep the title, meta keywords, and meta description tags within the limitations of the search engines. Now, there’s no rule on the number of characters or words for those tags but there is a “general rule of thumb” that I use. It has also been a great help when I do hand submissions to engines and directories because they each have their own limitations on submission fields. This tool lets me edit titles, keywords, and descriptions on the fly without having to sit there and count!
It also came in handy for my son when he had to write a 100 word essay as part of his Junior Black Belt test. I wish I’d have had this tool when I was in school!
