Search Engines and Directories List
In addition to all the search engines, directories, and link lists that our Search Engine Submissions provide your web site, we will submit your site, by hand, to as many Search Engines and Directories that still accept free submissions that we can find. The following are just a few of them.
ABiz Web Directory is a directory broken into the usual categories. Listings are free with a reciprocal link but they do offer premium placement for paid submissions.
Allthewebsites Directory offers web site promotion for web site owners in a directory broken into categories such as Arts, Career, Automotive, Government, Internet, and more. Free listings are available and a link back is requested but not required.
America's Best, The United States Open Directory Project, is broken into the usual categories. Listings are free with a reciprocal link but they do offer paid placement. They only accept family friendly, quality sites, in English. Haabaa Free Website Directory is a human edited, search engine friendly web directory. Paid and free submissions are available. Free submissions require a reciprocal link.
High Stuff is a directory offering categories for business, shopping, finance, computers, Internet, free stuff, and free deal related quality resources. Reciprocal and paid submission options are available.
Koolar is a business directory for small and home-based business. They offer free and paid listings. OyMap.com is a world directory broken down by region and then category. Submissions are free and a link back is not required but is appreciated.
SearchHippo accepts submissions to build upon it's database of dmoz sites. It offers free listings after creating an account and confirming your email address.
SurfGopher is a search engine broken into categories. They require a link back to their site but do have free submissions.
USCounties.com lists sites in the US based on state and county. Listings are free if a link back is given, otherwise a donation is required.
The WoW Directory sorts listings by category as well as region. Free submissions are only available on weekends and a reciprocal link is appreciated but not required. zTrenzDirectory.com is a search engine broken into categories. High Aspirations was submitted to their Computers & Software category but they have a good collection that will cover most site types. Submissions are free but a link back is required.
There are many, many more search engines and directories out there. Even more submissions are possible when you take into account those that list only web sites in a specific category. These types of submissions are included in our maintenance contracts when you tell us you also want Link Partners and Site Category Specific Directory submissions.
