The photo to the right is Ian Parker's "Flowers near Ashford Mill, Death Valley" and it is the original of what became our beautiful background image. Ian is a Professor of Neurobiology at the University of California. His web site offers plenty of scientific related sections but for those of us who are just not that geeky, his Photographs by Ian Parker section is all we need! All images are free for personal use but he requires you contact him regarding possible commercial use. |

Photolibrary offers royalty free images and clearly has a "web use only" price listing right on the image details page which makes searching for and choosing an image for your project a lot easier. Prices vary.
